Charles Venance Lugomela is an Associate Professor of Marine Biology in the Department of Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Technology, University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM).He obtained his Bachelor and Masters Degrees from UDSM in 1993 and 1996, respectively, and his PhD from Stockholm University, in 2002. Agnes Morris Sebharinda Nyomora is an Associate Professor of Plant Physiology in the Department of Botany, College of Natural and Applied Sciences of the University Dar es Salaam. She graduated from University of Dar es Salaam, Faculty of Agriculture in 1976 and 1981 with BSc. Agriculture and MSc. Agriculture respectively. She obtained her PhD (Plant Biology) in 1995 at University of California, Davis. She is one of the Researchers (Crops) for the BSU-IAA project at UDSM. Rukia Kitula is a Lecturer of Marine Socio-economic at the Institute of Marine Sciences (IMS) of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). She obtained her BSc (1996), MSc (2001) and PhD (2012) from Sokoine University of Agriculture. She is a member in the BSU-IAA project at UDSM. Dr. Paul Onyango is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Technology , University of Dar es Salaam. He obtained his Bachelors degree from the University of Nairobi in 1993 and a Masters and PhD Degree from the Arctic University of Norway, formerly Tromso University, in 2004 and 2011 respectively. Dr Aviti John Mmochi is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Physical and Environmental Marine Sciences (PEMS) Section of the Institute of Marine Sciences of the University of Dar es Salaam. Mmochi has a PhD in Chemistry of the University of Dar es Salaam. Mmochi has 20 year’s experience in training, research, consultancy and public service in finfish, shellfish and seaweed mariculture as including half pearl farming and integrated aquaculture. more details
