Integrated Aquaculture and Agriculture (IAA) Project

Knowledge Sharing, Research Dissemination and Communication; a case of Integrated Aquaculture and Agriculture (IAA)’ is a two years (2014 – 2015) project, which has received a no cost extension to 30th June 2017. This outreach project aims to support the efforts of universities to contribute to solving major societal challenges through communication and dissemination of research findings at all stakeholder levels. The project is financed by DANIDA under the auspices of the Building Stronger Universities (BSU) and implemented by a consortium of four Universities, which are:

1) University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM)
2) Sokoine University Agriculture (SUA)
3) Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)
4) Denmark Technical University (DTU)

As part of the project activities, a test site for validation of the IAA concept was developed at Kunduchi Campus, University of Dar es Salaam.
